How WordzMath Works
Getting started takes about ten minutes. From there, your child has a tutor who knows their subject, their school, and their exam board.
Tell us about your child
You share their current year, subjects, exam board, and what they are finding difficult. No long forms. Just a short conversation.
Free assessment session
A senior tutor meets your child in a 45-minute live session, identifies their exact gaps, and puts together a personalised learning plan at no charge.
We match the right tutor
We match your child with a tutor who specialises in their subject and knows their specific exam board inside out. Not a generalist, a genuine expert.
Live sessions, measurable progress
Sessions run weekly. Parents receive a progress update after every class. Grades improve. We track everything so you always know where your child stands.

Why Families Choose WordzMath
There are dozens of tutoring options in the UAE and UK. Here is what parents consistently tell us makes WordzMath different.
Every session is live
There are no recorded videos and no automated lessons at WordzMath. Your child sits in a live session with a real tutor who can hear where they are confused, answer their questions in the moment, and adjust the teaching accordingly.
Board-specific tutors, not generalists
A tutor who teaches Cambridge IGCSE Maths knows the mark scheme, the command words, and which question types come up most often in Paper 2. That specificity matters far more than a generic understanding of mathematics.
Parents always know what is happening
After every session, parents receive a written update covering what was covered, what the student found difficult, and what the next session will focus on. You never have to guess whether the tutoring is working.
What Parents and Students Say
"My daughter went from a D to an A in IGCSE Maths over one term. The tutor spotted exactly what she was doing wrong in her working, which her school had never picked up. We renewed straight away."
"We tried two other platforms before this one. The difference is that WordzMath sessions are genuinely live. The tutor engages with my son for the whole hour, not just at the start."
"I hit 7.5 in IELTS after eight weeks of sessions. My tutor focused entirely on my writing band score, which was holding me back. Very specific, very effective."

How every 60-minute session is structured
Every tutor follows the same four-phase structure. It ensures consistency and makes the most of the time your child has.
Recall warm-up
A quick review of the last session. Two or three questions to check what has been retained.
Core teaching
New content explained clearly, with worked examples. The tutor adjusts the pace in real time based on how the student responds.
Guided practice
The student attempts questions live while the tutor watches and corrects. Past paper questions are used wherever possible.
Summary and next steps
Key points are reviewed. Homework is assigned. The next session topic is confirmed. A summary is sent automatically to the parent.
Tutors Who Know Their Subject and Their Board
Every tutor at WordzMath has passed a five-stage vetting process. We are not a marketplace where anyone can sign up. We choose carefully and maintain high standards once tutors are teaching.
Every tutor passes a five-stage vetting process including a credentials review, a written subject knowledge test, a live 30-minute observed teaching demo, a background check, and a monitored three-session trial period. Fewer than one in five applicants are accepted.
Questions Parents Ask Before Starting
If your question is not here, the quickest way to get an answer is through a free consultation. Our team will walk you through everything.
Book a free consultationWe cover Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Combined Science, English Language, English Literature, Economics, Business Studies, Computer Science, and more. We teach students on Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA, Oxford AQA, UAE MOE, and IB curricula. Each tutor is matched to the specific board your child is sitting.
Most students see meaningful progress within the first four to six sessions. The pace depends on the subject, the student's starting point, and how consistently they attend. We track progress every session and share regular updates with parents so there are no surprises.
Exams are live. They require active recall, problem solving under pressure, and the ability to respond to questions you have not seen before. Watching a recording does not build those skills. Live sessions do. Sessions are recorded and saved for the student to revisit during revision, but they are never a replacement for the live session itself.
We will rematch them within 48 hours at no charge. The tutor-student relationship matters. If the fit is not right for any reason, tell us and we will find someone better suited to your child straight away.
Yes. All sessions are online and accessible from anywhere. Our tutors are experienced with both UAE MOE and UK exam board curricula, so students in either country receive fully relevant, board-aligned teaching from day one.
It is a 45-minute live session with a senior tutor. They work through some questions with your child, identify where the main gaps are, and put together a learning plan. There is no sales pitch and no obligation. Most parents find it genuinely useful even if they decide not to continue.
